Brian Hart
Brian Hart is the CEO of ShiftAbility, a Cincinnati based agency focused on assisting I/DD agencies in transforming from typical caregiving models to technology-first models of service. He has made it his mission to push the boundaries of what options exist for adults with disabilities. He is never satisfied and believes there is always a better way to increase independence of others, and break down the systemic barriers that hold them back and has been on the forefront of expanding services through the use of technology enabled supports and community clusters of services. Through the work at ShiftAbility, Brian has been able to assist agencies across the country to implement technology first and remote supports to increase the number of individuals they support.

Brian Hart

Jen Bauer
Jen Bauer is a Senior Transformation Consultant with ShiftAbility, an agency that assists governments and providers to transform their model of total in-person support to one that blends remote supports through the use of technology with in-person targeted supports to move people to another level of independence and inclusion. She has dedicated her professional career of over 30 years to the field of cognitive disabilities; the last 17 as an executive leader in several provider organizations. This dedication is fueled by a passion to see people with disabilities live a life of independence and full inclusion in their communities, which began with being the sister of a person with Down Syndrome, her brother Steve. He passed away in the spring of 2022 due to complications from COVID. Steve remains Jen’s north star and drives the work she does.
Debbie Staton-Stehling
Debbie Staton-Stehling is a Transformation Consultant with ShiftAbility. Debbie has dedicated nearly three decades to empowering individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and advancing Medicaid transformation across multiple states. From an early age, Debbie knew she wanted to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Her career has spanned roles with numerous IDD and mental health providers, where she has served in multiple leadership roles and her passion for consistently championing dignity, respect, and independence for those she serves.
Debbie became involved in Remote Supports and Smart Living, while serving as Vice President of Operations for a non-profit provider in North Carolina. Debbie worked closely with ShiftAbility and stakeholders in the state of North Carolina, to be the first Residential provider to implement Remote Supports. Debbie believes individuals deserve to live in the community of their choice and have supports in place to allow the greatest level of independence, empowerment, while promoting dignity and respect. Debbie remains passionate about supporting individuals achieving their dreams and is committed to helping providers become leaders in provider-led Remote Supports.
Jacqueline Brock
Jacqueline Brock is a consultant with ShiftAbility, an agency that assists organizations to transform the way they provide services and embrace a new Smart Living model. She is passionate about inclusivity and supporting adults in the disability community to not only have a have a higher quality of life, but to help create a community that sparks joy for all. She has been in the field of 17 years; 8 in executive leadership. Although Jacqueline is new to ShiftAbility, she believes that her love of advocacy, expertise in the provider field, and innovative thinking will bring a new perspective to the team.
